We can't accept change requests like this, without solid proof.
You should know by now that we don't accept change requests, just because
it's submitted, without proof, without explanation, without any additional
info. If you are sure this part came in this set, you should be able to prove
it. The submitter is supposed to do research and give us enough info we need
to be able to approve the change request.

FYI: Images of used sets only isn't considered solid proof.

Therefore this request can't be accepted.

Thanks,
Diana

Have over 100 inventory change requests, earliest from October 2023 and they
are not handled, commented, ... as if inventory catalog admins do not work or
have time to work...
I keep submitting requests, in a regular manner.
One this week,
One next week,...
And none being accepted or commented

I keep adding photos, and get many errors from forum. The photos are too large,
or too small. After 20 minutes, I don't have time to resize them. So I do
resize them after. Sometimes I resize them but I still get an error so I have
to resize them again until I find the right size.
And now, another obstacle occures: while there are over hundred pending requests
of me with photos and comments added, but if I don't get one done because
of errors in submitting photos,.... TakeAbrick might jump in within 30 hours
saying "we don't accept requests like this..." as if I keep submitting
requests without any comments.
And my request is rejected for this reason.

This is disappointing: the number of photos I submitted to the forum is perhaps
more that the total number of photos submitted by all other contributors (I mean
photos for inventory change requests, not considering photos of parts to be added
to the catalog)

I totally not see why this comment and the rejection is necessary. One simple
comment "please add photos/comments" or simply waiting for me to add
photos would have been done the job done.

Thanks,

And yes, I have photos of sealed bags in this case.
But I will comment how images of used sets is not a valid proof but removing
parts from a set with no proof does not any solid proof, let alone there were
no image of any used sets for those inventory change requests that TakeAbrick
submitted herself and approved. Here is one: the parts 813a was removed from

Set No: 158 Name: Railroad Crossing Gate
*
158-1 (Inv) Railroad Crossing Gate
8 Parts, 1969
Sets: Train: Supplemental: 4.5V

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogInvChangeItem.asp?itemType=S&itemNo=158-1&viewDate=Y&viewStatus=1

This part did come with this set. Yeap.

There is no active inventory administrator at the moment. There are only catalog
administrators who are working on both sides (catalog and inventories) and unfortunately
we have to spend most of our time on the catalog side due to the massive amount
of new stuff that is being released all the time. Your requests will be handled
as time allows.

This request was submitted without any comment. If you cannot provide the source
or evidence for your requests in a follow-up message right after you submitted
the requests, at the very least please add a comment that the evidence will be
uploaded later.

If you keep getting errors when uploading your images, you can send them to catalog@bricklink.com
instead. Please include a link to your request/forum message in the email.

Yes, I figure. That's unfortunate.

Turez, I am sure you would have not rejected my request.
Again, I have submitted many requests, with photos, texts,... and these are contribuation.
So if there are so many pending requests while hundered of them are mine with
comments and photos, there is no justifying reason to reject one only after a
few hours. This does not achieve anything. She could have left it aside for now,
or commented to remind me to add a comment. She rejected three requests at once.
1) This one
2) for set 924 where I had playfully asked what evidence inv. admins want to
to submit (I had a few) trying to inject some sense of humor.
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1489246

3) 116-1 and 116-2 stating the request for set 116-2 is a duplication of request
for set 116-1
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1522576

These rejections makes me work more to resubmit them, that is for nothing.
Unfortunately I hate to say but all my requests were correct (except those for
which if I stayed I am not sure) but some were rejected for unnecessary reasons
like those above, or for reasons that I cannot agree with (no way to open rare
sealed sets from 60s-80s to prove what I know is correct).
