a photo of the part that you received in the set?

As you can see these are rounded edges.

This is the version with only the (c). No Lego nor partn° on.

Nope. That's the version with the cut edges.

This is the version with only the (c). No Lego nor partn° on.

That image shows the variants of 48729b. 48729a is not in that image.

See my image attached. The 48729 is now 48729a in the catalog. The easiest way
to tell is that 48729a never had a hole on the side.

Yes. This part is almost as ubiquitous as the Technic pin, and like the Technic
pin, it was decided by the admin team that asking sellers to separate versions
of it was overkill. The only one that is left by itself is 48729a because it
is not in system while all of the versions of 48729b are.
