We have noticed an increasing amount of phishing messages sent from accounts
that are posing as BrickLink support.
This message is a crucial reminder to stay vigilant about phishing attempts on
BrickLink. Here are a few key points to keep in mind:
1. BrickLink’s role in transactions: BrickLink does not process or manage
payments directly. If you receive emails implying otherwise, it’s a red flag.
2. Check email domains carefully: Always ensure that any email claiming
to be from BrickLink includes 'bricklink' in its domain or subdomain,
without variations. Phishers often use look-alike domains to trick users.
3. Avoid sharing sensitive information: Never provide personal or payment
information in response to an unsolicited email or message, even if it appears
legitimate
Please report any suspicious activity to BrickLink support: bricklink@support.lego.com
We hope that you stay safe and cautious.
Can you send a mass email to all the users about this?

Will there be a faster way of reporting the hundreds of fake accounts in the
future?
This email, tbh, I was not sure if it was a real one or not, due to the mail
not using bricklink.com . So I checked older emails and they matched this one.
with the mail links.
Cheers for the warning

After this email from you (THX a lot for), I received 1h later the Fishing-Email.
😁
I block the member where I received the Fishing-Email and good are. 😜
I was scammed on November 1st at 12.00 pm Italian time
They stole over 1400 euros from me
the email came from bricklink (the email has an official bricklink address) and
also the site where they took me through the link was a page of the main site
bricklink.com
see attached images

The link won't take you to a page on the main site, it is a copy intended
to look like the main site. The link is clearly not a bricklink page.
More importantly, how did you pay (Paypal, credit card, etc) and can you contact
them to report fraud and reverse the payment?

That email “from bricklink” is just the email you get when you get any message
via bricklink messaging. And as the other use mentioned it was a “copy” of the
real site. Almost guaranteed if you click on any of the links they would be broken
and not lead anywhere. Sorry to hear they got you and hopefully you can get your
money back or if you didn’t pay with PayPal/credit card that you get local authorities
involved.
