Please people learn how to read an URL and never ever click if you checked
it's a scam.
There are plenty of sites showing how to do so, here are some:
In case of doubt, please:
1) FIRST read the last subjects in Forum,
2) If nothing shows a related subject, please post.
But again, please DO NOT click on those links/buttons.
As clicking while not even entering any data will already provide them the information
that there's an human at the e-mail address they sent the scam attempt.
So be sure they'll retry harder next time.
Same, do not open any attached document (including PDF files or pictures), if
you aren't SURE who's the sender and why they would send you this attachment.
In a general meaning, legit and safe sites will NOT send you a link to click
or something attached to read (apart if you asked them, like a Help Desk reply).

In case of doubt, please:
1) FIRST read the last subjects in Forum,
Well, that’s a bit difficult today because we need to cancel most of the first
posts because people post the full URL.
I guess they want other people to get scammed/phished too 🤷♂️
2) If nothing shows a related subject, please post.
But, please, not the full link and no e-mail addresses!

They are just trying to keep you employed… or umm… since it’s a volunteer position,
busy!

They are just trying to keep you employed… or umm… since it’s a volunteer position,
busy!
The issue is that we can’t edit posts so we need to cancel them
Those first posts can be useful to realize there’s already posts about the problem,
especially for those who only look at title-posts (= “without replies”).
(Well, when they look….)

Indeed an edit button would be helpful!
One new thing the forum does need
I was surprised to see such a low level scam that was so obvious, but still people
fall for it😔
I will be going on another fake user reporting spree today before I upload more
stickered parts
Maybe we can prevent this

I’ve got 1814.37 Grams of slopes to add
Maybe we can prevent this
Why would we prevent you from adding stickered parts

Im by no means a programmer... but with chatgpt, i can create, adjust, most of
the php html js css ect languages..creating an editing function should be within
reach when server acces and database access is available (wich i assume bricklink
does over its own server, most likely russel or above..)
I would gladly invite him for chat with chatgpt on some issues.

SCAM!
Bricklink does not need to verify transactions because they do not handle the
payments. That is why you need to use Paypal or Stripe
