I got an message from Bricklink user: BRsuport4
The message about other customer try to send money to me, but that was going
to their security platform. So they stop this transaction and first I have to
verify my identification. Therefor I have toclick on an link which start with
https://bricklink-verify.bitebysha.shop ....
There you need to fill in your credit card details. Then they write on chat they
just for 3 seconds hold an random amount of money, then they open this hold and
they don't take your money. That amount is depends on what kind of credit
card you have.
There are an chat platform which they started as 'BrickLink Support'
but they lie!!! (check all pictures below!)
Then I got an bill EUR 538,99 to Octo Browser wanted from my credit card.
I wrote to that chat, "hey, that's is to much amount of money to verify
myself."
They said, No problem I have to just click on OK in my bank application, I have
to trust them 'cause today they checked more than 200k user.
I told them, no way 'cause that verification is just between EUR 0,01 - 1,00
Then they try to tell me about this is the new rules and the government don't
care the people like me, but they secure and verify users to save their money
etc...
I took pictures from whole chat discussion.
But will be nice if Bricklink block this user or others.
NEVER LET ANYBODY TO 'HOLD' ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD!
First check sure you get message from Bricklink or just from an user.
if from user, then check his page, like this user was only join yesterday to
Bricklink website and he didn't buy or sell.
BRICKLINK please clean your site from this scam user's and also try to make
a contact with police to catch them!

BRICKLINK please clean your site from this scam user's and also try to make

Bricklink will never send you a link through their messaging system to "verify"
your card because bricklink does not do any payment processing (that is why u
must use stripe or paypal).
Report the user as a scammer and bricklink will ban that user but other than
that they can't do anything.
File a claim through your credit card company so you try can get your money back.
Be more vigilant next time, there were plenty of red flags in that message you
received.
