do you know why the request just dissaperes after few mins, no rejection, just
dissapears and that is it...
tried it twice
I had a list of lot of similar items (collectibles, which are usually related
together), and I want to fix the DB, but this auto deletion is annoying
if it disappears it likely means it was rejected. bricklink doesn't send
notifications for rejects in most cases. there are many factors that go into
them approving/declining one so its best to request it if you believe they should
get connected however if its rejected its best to move on. I've submitted
many item relation requests and some are approved and some not as the experienced
admins have the final say
sorry, I was checking just the change catalog, and they just dissapered, I expected
they will be put into declined or so, not just wanish, I for got to check messages,
sorry
They are no different to Nexo Knights shields, or Vidiyo tiles. Those do not
have relationships built into the catalogue. Just search for the appropriate
keyword.

Hey there,
That is true, but those have huge number of related items, beyond the max limit.
Anyway to main issue now: these bellow have relations, any reason why these can,
and the others cannot?
Because I was comming from these entries and tried to fill those that are missing.
All are grouped only by assocation that they are collectibles with similar patters,
so all of them are breaking the rules, right?
Thanks for providing any explonation for that.
PS: I try to search, but sometimes the names are not maintained properly,
eg one entry is missing black in the control directive:
Tile 1 x 2 with Black Goblin Eye and 2 Silver Sparkling Crystals on Yellowish
Green Parchment Pattern
Tile 1 x 2 with Goblin Eye and Medium Azure Amulet on Yellowish Green Parchment
Background Pattern
Tile 1 x 2 with Black Goblin Eye and Silver Erlenmeyer Flask with Bright
Green Vapors on Yellowish Green Parchment Background Pattern

There is no max limit.

Those were given relationships because they are essentially the same exact part
with extremely similar designs. It makes it easier for those looking to identify
one know that there are other very similar ones. It is not because they were
intended as "collectibles" by the LEGO Group or not (which many of them
are not). So, for the armors you link to below, they are all the same part, all
made in Pearl Gold, and all of the patterns are very similar. That is why they
have a relationship. If every one of them was a different color (for example,
the Monster Fighters moonstones), there would be no relationship because the
colors identify the parts and the patterns are not similar.
Cheers,
Randy

Hey Randy,
got it, than maybe what is your opinion on these ones? all same color brick,
very similar design, I mistake one for other sometimes (feels the same like the
maps or mughshots which are currently allowed)
HP shields with pictures, which many looks similar, like the blue ladies, so
I would still consider it the same as the purple ones, but I would agree that
those are more similar due to their simple design, but still, some are gold,
other silver, not so uniformed

They are all the same part with the same color and have some small similarities,
so I might allow those. Let me think about those a bit more.

Since these are definitely meant to be collectible, I would probably allow them.
