Hi all, I would love to hear, particularly from buyers, if you would like to
have a print out of your order included in the packaging with your order. Thanks.

No. It's wasteful paper, ink, and shipping weight.

I like having it, because that way I don't have to get out my phone or computer
when I'm counting out my order, but at the same time, I totally understand
if sellers don't use it for reasons the original replier said.
Although I guess if you don't color print it one sheet of paper per order
isn't really all that much materials, and if you buy many orders from many
different stores it is a good way for the buyer to identify which order is from
which store.

As a buyer, I don't need a full packing list, but knowing the order number
is convenient, as I often have several orders arriving in a day.
As a seller, I include a half-page black and white paper on which I write the
order number, and well as instructions on how to contact me if there is a problem,
and instructions how to leave feedback.

No, especially if you charge handling fees to cover the paper and ink or extra
shipping because the order is heavier than it needs to be.

Hi. I don't normally get one when I get an order, usually a business card
with the order number on it. I place small orders anyways.
When I an picking a rather large order I do include a packing slip so the order
is more accurate for the buyer and myself.
Not for me, happy without one and don’t add one myself.
A couple of times it would have pushed package into higher cost bracket.
I do however write order number on outside of package next to return address.

As a buyer, I don't need or want one; as a seller, I don't include one.

We haven't included them in over 10000 orders and not once has anyone complained.
L am pretty sure that BrickBuy (from above), who has had now close to 50,000
orders will say the same. So if you were wondering from the perspective of how
your customers might respond if you stopped including a packing list than I would
think that you have nothing to worry about.
The only time I include a packing list is in some overseas orders or if someone
orders an expensive set - but only sometimes.
We always put a sticker on the front of each order with the order number printed
on it but I really do like how BrickBuy includes a 1/2 sheet of paper where
he writes the order number, as well as instructions on how to contact him if
there is a problem, and instructions how to leave feedback. I think we will
start doing that too.

I have never expected it from sellers and I have never included it for buyers.
I do have a business card with how they can reach me, a QR code to my store,
and a spot to include the Order Number. When I have received packing slips,
they are ususally black and white and it's hard to follow for colored parts
anyways.

I have made one a few times when someone specifically asked for it, but I don't
do it otherwise. When one comes in an order I bought, I don't even unfold
it.

As i a buyer dont need it, many thanks!
As i seller never include it, in most cases its heavier than the order. Waste
of rss and money

Since our very first days of selling here, we’ve included the printout used as
our order-pulling checklist, denoting (our) confirmation of both item and quantity.
Two checks, in other words.
In those rare events the count is off, this printout received also servers as
a reminder to the buyer of what was communicated at the time regarding the issue.
So that the buyer need not try to remember or perhaps worry after the fact. This
included checklist also bears in bold print the order number, which many express
a preference in having.
So whether the buyer appreciates receiving the printout or not, they’re getting
it from us. Unless they ask for it not to be included, which does happen on occasion
and for reasons beyond the so-called “green concern”
None of the creative rationale and arguments I’ve heard over the years here,
have yet been persuasive enough to cease the practice. So for me, this is just
another one of those you-do-you reoccurring forum topics

No, reviving the paper printout is not something as a buyer I’ve found useful.
Tho some sellers use it during their packing process so they include it which
even tho I’d prefer to not get it (as I can’t stand the feel of paper) I don’t
really mind getting it but it ends up in the recycle before the days end
