For the last couple of weeks, I have been experiencing some severe latency between
orders in PayPal and the import into ShipStation. Sometimes an order will import
days after it was placed and paid. I create a manual label to get around this,
but is anyone else experiencing this and if so, any tricks to resolve it? I've
already reset the API connection.

I’ve heard shipstation is simply bad in general. Most recommend you switch over
to pirate ship which can connect to your PayPal and seems to be better in every
way

NO, I personally have not had issue with Shipstation this week, but I guess you
could save the .01 cent difference on most packages and use pirate. I think
with Pirate you still have to copy / paste addresses so that could lead to errors.
So many sellers post here that they sent the wrong package to the wrong customer,
not sure how that would happen with Shipstation as its integrated.

I'm not in the USA so I haven't used it but I'm pretty sure they
say pirate ship can be connected to your Paypal which would mean no copying and
pasting address

If so that is a new feature they have added as of late. I'm just loyal to
both PayPal and Shipstation because they have always served me well (ok the USPS
can be included).

perhaps this link will help

Pirateship integrated with PayPal over a year ago. It works well.

I tried Pirateship, but it doesn't allow you to customize the label with
the PayPal Integration. I like to put the order number on the label, but the
Bricklink Order Number doesn't appear to get sent to PayPal, so I add it
manually to a custom field in Shipstation.

Normally shipstation has been good for me, but something wonky has been going
on lately.

For Pirateship, click the "Rubber Stamps Print extra information on the label"
and add the Order # there. You'll have to copy and past it though.

I didn't realize until this summer that you could just go directly to shipstation
to buy the labels. I had previously (and still) go in to Paypal, then use the
buy shipping label option in there to teleport to shipstation.

There are times though that the order doesn't show up on the account overview
page, but if I click "all activity" at the top, it will show me all transactions
and I proceed as normal.

We have had the same problem using their other service using Shipworks. we will
actually get an error message when trying to download orders. Most make it thru
but a few can take several days to come thru so we, like you, have had to make
manual labels. It is good to know it is not just us. I hope they fix it fast.

I've had the same sort of latency recently between BL - PayPal - Endicia.

I can see the order in BL, the payment in PayPal, but Endicia won't import
until the next day. I've been on support calls w/Endicia twice now for this.

Looking more closely at the paypal payment I'm now wondering if there is
a delay in BL completing the transaction into paypal.

#1 screenshot - paypal new payment today that is not showing in Endicia.

#2 paypal payment from yesterday that didn't show in endicia last night,
but now shows up today. I'm fairly sure the Invoice ID & Custom field were
NOT present last night.

FYI....from what I can tell transaction type doesn't seem to matter.

OP can you look at yours.... FYI... In paypal I'm looking at the "Payment
from" transactions as of now.
