Has anyone else experienced a dramatic halt in sales this past week? I was wondering
if it had to do with kids going back to school and parents being busier taking
them back and forth. I just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this
and what your thoughts were if this is occuring to you.

very normal for the summer. they will pick up during the winter months and slow
down in the summer months.

June, July and August are always slow. Looks like you just opened so more than
likely you had some things priced very well or things that were hard to find
so they got snatched up quickly. Same thing happened with me (20 orders in the
first month and then things normalized) and others.
You'll get a good sense of how business is going October-January.

I don't think you have been running long enough to spot any seasonal decline.
Looking at the dates you added minifigures and higher value parts, it looks like
you added a lot of interesting items at the start, but more recently only common
and fairly boring parts that tend to be bought alongside more sought after parts
unless you are a large store with a huge range of parts and are able to fulfill
wants lists. The interesting items that were well priced from the buyer's
view would have been bought quickly and if you haven't replaced like with
like, then orders will drop off.
I just did a very quick rough check of the number of orders on bricklink in the
first 2 weeks of August vs the first 2 weeks in June and they're within 5%
of each other so certainly not a exponential slow down.
