Any suggestions/tips on distinguishing flat silver from metallic silver with
these.

My eyes are having real trouble deciding if I have both in a batch or they are
all the same and I’m convincing myself that there are slight differences with
some.

I’m usually ok with larger items.

Perhaps post some pictures but the metallic silver one is almost “sparkly” versus
flat silver which is more of a “solid” colour

Thanks.

Just dug out two 4073 which are clearly flat silver, seems the 30377 are all
metallic silver.

Not so much "sparkly" as coated and slightly metallic in appearance,
I'd say. Especially with that part when comparing with flat silver, which
as you say appears "more of a solid colour" It's an apropos adjective
in the name, iow.

It's not difficult to distinguish between the two colors, imho. Not like
some others anyway
