I think one needs access to one's former email account in order to confirm
the change to a new email address?
I think so too: that’s SOP to check you’re really the owner. Otherwise someone
with “only” the username and password, or who profits from a coffee break of
the real user, could steal the account.

Yep, I understand you both, but if you've access to someone's computer
while a coffee break, you may also be able to read his e-mails...
Anyway, you're right it's probably the case here, but one should invent
a procedure in this case, which may not be so rare and blocks the user and will
take Help Desk precious time.
Maybe the Bricklink Support answer to my supporticket in the next time, then
can Bricklink proove that i the real Dr.Stone. I have read that Bricklink will
be a supportticket in this Case. I hate waiting.

Did you have any luck with this? I am in the same situation
