I would like to have an option in the shipping method to only provide the 'Quote'
button.

Reason: I have a shipping method with a name and a description saying that it
should only be used to ask for a quote. Shipping costs are 0 in this shipping
method. But people still press 'Place Order' and then they - esp. from
North America - do not pay because they are not willing to pay high shipping
costs and taxes. I would like to force people to press 'Quote' simply
by having only this button to avoid annoying discussions and cancellation process.

Would it be easier to just set up shipping to the usa? Years ago we shipped to
a bunch of different countries and just set shipping up for each individually.
This worked fine until about 2020 when packages started stagnating and shipping
prices really started skyrocketing. Became not worth it really quick! Lots of
people have requested ideas to help out but, Bricklink is still light years behind
almost every other online marketplace. I would recommend just figuring out/setting
up shipping to countries that make the most sense to for you to ship to. I have
to believe that anyone in their teens and twenties has no idea what an invoice
is.... Go online, pick the item you want, shows up in your mailbox, that's
it. Just my two cents.
