Buying Privileges - OK
Need advice or someone to tell me what I should do. Long story but inquired
about a figure. The figure is one of the most rare and expensive figures to buy.
I asked questions as I always do because I collect, buy and sell. No cracks,
nicks etc.. Seller was great in the beginning. I decided to purchase the figure
but then he sent me pictures and the arms were on a different torso. I explained
I .are a mistake and thought the torso was extra and I didn't want to remove
the arms because they are so expensive. I didn't want to spend that much
money and then crack a arm. I asked if he would do it but he didn't want
to obviously he knew the risk. He denied it and I know the policy so I just decided
to take the risk. The next day though I changed my mind. I asked since he had
not shipped if he could cancel and do a refund. At first he didn't want to
and he changed. So eventually he kept saying he would cancel order and refund.
Never happened. 30 plus emails, had to contact PayPal to try and get money
back. He said he couldn't do the refund even when PayPal contacted him. 4
weeks go by so I had to contact my bank. Order is still pending Bricklink wouldn't
help or cancel the order. I tried canceling again and Bricklink changed it back
to Pending. It's still on my orders as Pending. What should I do?

Only the seller van refund the payment and cancel the order.
He should use the refund payment button on the orders details page and then follow
the steps to cancel the order.
Is the payment status still paid?

BrickWilBo the status has Pending but still shoes the green 🟩 square on right
as paid. He kept telling me that he could issue the refund and I wouldn't
get the entire about and throughout the process lied about the refund process
and PayPal not issuing the full refund. PayPal contacted him several times to
resolve but he wouldn't reply or issue the refund. A tried BL 3 or 4 times
and have done the OCR to cancel but as a buyer you can only initiate it. It has
to be the seller that cancels the order. I just want the order to be canceled
from my list and finished. I have never dealt with a seller that is this unprofessional,
lied and untrustworthy. I almost feel like he's not canceling it for a reason.
Only thing I thought was to change status to seller not shipped, but then I
would be a liar and I'm not that person. I don't have any options though
because BL isn't intervening and will not help and he hasn't done anything
since this happened.

you mentioned several things so lets break it down, the order will show as paid
until the payment status is updated by the seller. the best way to deal with
that would be to file the order so it doesn't show anymore and then after
6 months from the order date it will be purged from bricklink. you can still
file a nss if you want and then wait for the time limit to finish then you can
complete it, tho since you received the refund from your bank the seller just
needs to show that info to bricklink and they will remove it

it to "Non Paying Buyer" Should I comment back or just accept it and
consequences as it is stated. I don't feel like I should because I did everything
right om my end. I'm not going to pay him but don't want the warning
on my account or non paying buyer. I only have 7 days so any advice ftom anyone
would help.

if you respond to the NPB then you can extend that deadline by a week. you can
reach out to bricklink to see if they could remove the NPB so your account doesn't
get a strike but that would be completely up to them

send Bricklink the information from Paypal that you paid for the order you should
have a PayPal record of the transaction then Bricklink will remove the NPB and
then file the order and it will go away.
