I want to search the store items available for "Very Light Gray Tile".
If I enter this into the main search box (and avoiding the still present bug
that [Enter] changes the query completely to an unrelated other search, like
"Light Gray Tire", I get to:
but subsequently get the message "The following keywords were excluded from
your search: very" and the subsequent list of tiles is in the wrong color.
How to get to the intended search results?
If I go through the color guide for very light gray, I can do a search on tiles
and can limit my search to 6881*, but I would have to check the item detail page
for each part separately to see the items for sale. I thought I knew my way around
the Bricklink site, but can't find a way to get these results this time.
Anyone?

@Admin_Russell: Please let the developers finally fix the main search box
- proper respond to Enter (and not picking a non-selected suggestion from the
list instead)
- extract the color name before applying any filter on too frequently used words

Dosnt it only do that if the mouse is hovering over the suggested search results?

no, it does it regardless of where your mouse it. you need to type and press
enter SUPER quick before the search bar suggestions pop up to get your actual
search results you want. it has always been this way, super annoying.
I don't have issues inputting search terms in someone's store. Does this
only happen in a specific store?
If your browser has an autocomplete function, turning it off might help with
inputting your search terms. I find such "aids" annoying to me, and turn
them off.
You did not state your OS, or mobile device, or whatever it is you are using
to browse BrickLink with, but rest assured that the search box does not have
any search suggestions by default.
You might want to try looking for a browser that is easy to customize what it
will help you with when entering search terms. There are many browsers out there,
I wish you well in finding a browser that is more suited to entering search terms.
Cheers ...
