Hi - I'm looking at a couple of sets whose inventory hasn't progressed
beyond the initial import for 1-2 weeks. At what point does that initial inventory
get rejected so someone else can start over from scratch? I know that one can
only reserve a set for inventorying for a few days, surely the initial import
can't simply be submitted and held onto indefinitely?

I think it gets held for about a month.

There is no general guideline at this time as to when a pending inventory might
get rejected.
It depends on the set (piece count, how many new parts etc.), the submitter and
how/if they have finished previous inventory submissions, and also the overall
situation regarding inventory submissions. June has brought us almost 100 new
sets and there are only very few members who contribute inventories these days,
so we would only remove a pending inventory if we haven't heard or seen anything
from the submitter for a while and really have a feeling they are not working
on their submission(s) anymore.

Are you waiting for a particular inventory to be finished or would you like
to submit a pending inventory yourself?

I've been waiting for the inventory for 60426 since the start of the month.
It has been pending the whole time. I have two sealed copies and would be more
than willing to help with any items that may need to be added to the database
to get this inventory over the line.

I'm actually working on that inventory myself right now. It should be ready
very soon.
