I think if you've already assembled them, then sell them assembled, but if
you want the customer to enjoy the build then sell new ones disassembled
I personally prefer mine to arrive assembled, especially when you're buying
them in high quantities as it gets to be tedious when you have 50+ clone troopers
to assemble & individually bag
I also don't consider new minifigures that have been assembled to be "used"
either, as they're straight from the set & haven't been played with or
displayed
That is interesting. I could see how buying 50+ for a MOC and having to assemble
them all could be quite tedious. I never though of it that way but then again,
we usually never have more then 20 of any one minifigure for sale.
When we first stated selling minifigs we assembled them just to make sure all
the correct pieces were included but now we sell them unassembled because it
seems most prefer receiving them that way.

When selling minifigures are you selling them assembled or are you letting the
buyer enjoy the build?
Both, but only because I switched from assembling them to not assembling early
in 2023. Sort of how UTLF mentions how tedious it can be to assemble 50 clone
troopers that you buy; it's just as tedious to pre-assemble them.
But it's not really about time savings for me, it's more about letting
the buyer have the fun and lowering the profile for shipping.
When selling minifigures are you selling them assembled or are you letting the

If you want to assemble them, just make it clear so buyers either know what to
expect when their order arrives or can avoid your store if they want to receive
new parts.

Since assembled minifigures are regarded no less superior to unassembled and
both are equally classed as NEW by Bricklink there is no obligation to mark differently??
There is already an understanding by the BL community that they can be received
in either form therefore if the buyer is particularly fussy about that then they
can always ask?
On the same token if a seller thinks unassembled minifigures are more desirable
then they can by all means add that in their own notes?
I’ve been selling assembled minifigures for years without a single complaint
and I sell around 10+ minifigs every single day across multiple platforms so
lets not keep trying to make out they are somehow inferior!

I sell them unassembled with 1 exception: I put larger backpacks already on the
neckstud to prevent the neckpart of the backpack getting damaged by sortingmachines
from the Postal service.

Used I sell assembled. New I sell unassembled (unless they came assembled or
partly-assembled). First, because I think the buyer should be able to enjoy the
build; and second, because the buyer could be buying the minifigure to part out.

A seemingly ever ongoing debated which remains a salient question on BL Iow,
another BL forum classic Prolonged by outdated wording within the guidelines,

I have not or ever will, proclaim what other vendors should do. Only that
some points of principle and practice are considered, beforehand.
~ Principle: A building toy. If built, then used. In the less common instances
LEGO markets the new minifig as assembled, then considered used when disassembled.
There is much more to consider in this matter. But I’ve become somewhat less
enthusiastic about opening eyes to what I consider good selling practices. Vendors,
do it as you feel it! I'll just add that as buyer, I don’t like it... Which
is yet another motivation for me not to do it as seller

Same, especially when like me, you buy Minifigures to get some parts of them
(and mix with other parts, colors...)
Then you've to unassemble them one by one at arrival, and do your mix
Needless to say, I first ask to sellers if they sell them assembled, and if they
do I won't buy there (those anyway).

Seems a cool place, guess you visited it?
I'm fine with Roquefort and such cheeses like Bleu d'Auvergne, have one
in my fridge, love them!
