I posted an announcement for my February store sale on February 10, and then
again a few days later (to keep it on the first page of postings, where everybody
will see it).
I received a note from a moderator chastising me for the second post, mentioning
that I'd already posted once that month. Is there now a monthly limit to
your sales announcements?

2. Talking about topic descriptions, why post this in the Sales topic? It’s
clearly not a Sales or New items for sales announcement and it doesn’t have its
place on the main page (which is what happens to all (first) posts in the Sales
topic).
3. The message you were sent was a heads-up, not a chastisement. It’s clearly
stated that way.
Russell’s post states that posters would get banned directly. We instead took
a softer road and we’re sending head-ups messages. We generally don’t even cancel
the first ‘offence.’
And for that, we get different answers, from
“It’s outrageous! You’re killing my business!”
to
“OMG! So sorry!”
and anything in between.
*sigh* People….

No need for "*sigh* People..." or any other form of Sylvain sarcasm.
Grow thicker skin if you’re gonna be the instrument that conveys such radical
change of long held seller policy here? Maybe try and understand how radical
this implementation is for the many long established BL sellers. That is if you're
able, not having the same BL experience
My advise: moderate your responses towards these so called “violators” of the
new policy. Or don’t and continue to be you
In my opinion, the manifestation of having admin without broad BL experience...

Where do you see sarcasm here? Maybe judging others with a mirror again?
I was just saying that with the same message, the responses went all over the
gammut: outrage, acknowledgement, embarrassement, apology, or simply no answer.
Just people being people…
…and you being you.
