| I've sent a couple of invoices this morning (AU time) and both are missing
'comments from seller', which means buyers aren't getting payment
information.
My first one affected was sent at 19.54 BrickLink time. Anyone else having the
same problem?

There's no "Comment from Seller" AFAIK!?
Maybe it's something you set up in your Invoice Template?
Something may have changed in your template(s)?
Otherwise sorry I really can't see what you mean.

Thanks, I haven't changed anything but I tried wiping what I had and replacing
it with testing, then again with abcde in the box and nothing came through either
time.

time.

Yes I can see it appears on your page and not in the email
Check and recheck the Template; try things, otherwise wait after midnight EST,
if not tomorrow the open a ticket.

at the order confirmation email instead of the invoice. Lucky I checked before
I replied to him.

Thanks but unlikely unless I'm given no choice.
100% of my orders are paid for by bank transfer/deposit and I'm happy with
the level of sales I'm getting. I have no wish to expand or bring anyone
else in to help and some days I really am pushing to get everything done.
The reference thing probably isn't really needed anymore because our banks
add more info to transfers than they used but it's standard to add some sort
of reference with a payment.
I have put in a bug report. I didn't get an auto response like I did last
time, so maybe something's changed there. In the meantime I'm sending
the missing info is a message with an explanation.
Someone on a Facebook group says they have the same issue, so for those of you
who send manual invoices, perhaps check your copy to make sure all the necessary
info is there because an invoice without payment info is no use to anyone.

I am having the same problem. In the order I made yesterday, the Invoice from
my seller is missing the "Comments from Seller".
Then I had an order from a buyer. I have sent the invoice with copy to me and
the "comments from seller" are missing in the email.
Fortunately I immediately saw this and could get in contact with my buyer.

I invoiced this morning asked where payment details were. The earlier invoice
I sent didn't have them either but that buyer placed an order last week as
well, so must have got them from that one.
At the top of the send invoice page, there used to be a link to view a printable
copy but that's changed to a link further over on the right of 'send
invoice'. I haven't noticed it before, so wondering it's a recent
change that might be the cause of the problem.

I think that change was done some time ago, I wouldn't say it is recent.
For the invoice issue, can you try this?
Go to edit your template and copy it to a txt file in your computer and save
it.
Then reset it, as with TAX changes they added/changed somethings in it.
Then try to send the invoice again with the comments and see if it gets to you
fine.

Just confirmed that this is also happening to me, most of my orders are paid
by onsite methods, but the comments are empty for all new generated invoices
now.
This has to be an update related to the one that broke the API that is related
to the comments on store lots.
Until solved we sellers might have to send a message with the comments in the
invoice so our customer get the details to pay...

I agree, it seems to have started around the same time.
I still send the invoice but I copy the usual comments to a BL message and sent
that as well, along with a short note explaining why I have to do it that way.

I was wondering why they changed it the other day.
I wrote this long reply, but thought better of it.
I know very little about html. Probably enough to mess things up.
The Comments from seller section is just empty. It does not retrieve.
The print button does the same thing.
This really needs to be fixed.

I have experienced exactly the same. So this must be a general error - maybe
after they changed a lot of the system by the end of January.
Admin needs to look at this and get it fixed ASAP!

Glad it was a repeat Seller and I already had his IBAN information.

Seems that you have to change the tag to
{seller's additional comments}
This tag is the only one that has both opening and closing brackets. Enter any
additional default comments here, for example your paypal address. When generating
an invoice, the additional comments between the tags will be shown inside a text
area box which you can later add additional comments to. So it's default
additional comments plus additional comments. You may also enclose any of the
above tags in between the comments tags, for example: Please send grand total
to paypal address test@test.com

Seems that they either fixed it, or putting {seller's additional comments}
behind the end tag of COMMENTS works.

The same here, yesterday all went fine, today the problem occurred.
I copy and paste my invoices.
After pasting them I see them in the invoice when I send it to the buyer but
it arrives empty at the buyers and my e-mailaddress.
So I had to rely on 1 of my customers that informed me about it and had to send
the invoice through the mail manually.
It is a really annoying bug.
