This store has zero feedback as a seller. They have 1 FB as a buyer.
Yet it has many very desirable sets available at mostly lower costs than average.
The combination of desirable sets is suspect.
They also added a large number of those sets in the past couple of weeks.
I can understand it's ringing alarmbells but at the moment i would consider
it too early to tell. Personally i recognize the name of the seller as a thirdparty
seller on bol.com.
the verification processe seemed to have gone well otherwise there would not
be a shop.
So maybe the seller/company is looking for other salespossibilities.

+1
Plus the fact that they've been registered as a member for nearly two years

publicly naming them with a link to their store while describing them as 'Suspect'
& what they are doing is 'alarm bell's ringing' worthy when you have
zero evidence of anything is borderline Defamation.
"borderline" maybe...
But strangely enough, it most likely had the effect of more business being driven
to them. You might be surprized by how many secretly want that too-good-to-be-true
or just-fell-off-the-truck type of offer, the premise of "fishy" just
serves to reinforce the illusion.
Especially with the convenience a link provides, cutting down on some individual's
usual time needed for reason to kick in

Good ol' popsicle, spittin' truth as usual
Yeah, though I really should save my spit, it dries up as quickly as the
truth does, nowadays

Prices don't look that low to me. Death Star UCS is lower than the current
average but over the 6 month average - no big deal there, that's totally
normal.

Question remains: how can a rather new seller list 163 highly desirable sets?
Where do you buy such sets or has this seller accumulated those sets privately
for 10 years and suddenly decided to sell them? I still think this is fishy.

My sister who didnt own any Lego suddenly 1 year bought 100+ sets then “suddenly”
listed them a year later with 0 prior lego sets having been sold for her. It’s
not that crazy. I looked at some of the prices and although a little low they
arnt crazy low. Even their Venetian houses are over $100 more expensive then
the one I have for sale

Seems to me, if you want those questions answered, you could just email them
directly. They might have been buying sets for some time now, and they had a
lot of bills come up, maybe they are in divorce proceedings and their mate is
wanting these sets out of the house, etc.....
You would not find this out by asking other here, only by asking the seller directly.

i won 2 pounds of near mint mini-figures on a ebay auction like 18 months ago
for $40 / free shipping. inventoried out to be around $1400 in parts & complete
figures.
is that "fishy"... or too good to be true?
am i now 'suspect' ... ?
Please do not let this forumposts be like a lot of Instagram or X posts that
ridicule people.
The OP may be right or may be wrong but responses should be mature.
Just to weigh in: I opened my shop in October, and have been collecting and storing
lego for 7 years. I had over 100 gwp, and have a huge personal collection besides
what is posted in my BL store. What I'm saying is that I uploaded 20k worth
of sets in 24 hours to BL to open my store. That aspect to me is not suspect.
Cheers

We all have to be vigilante and watch for suspicious activity to prevent a repeat
of the November Nightmare. However, error on the side of caution when something
doesn't look right.
Perhaps the better way to have handled this is to report suspicious activity
to the admin team via the Problem Center so they can evaluate whether there is
an issue.
Based on your definition of fishy I might have to be careful when I open my store
in a few months. (Waiting for our house remodel to be completed.)
Someone might think a new store with 200 sets, 100k parts, and 500 Instructions
would be fishy.

I'm all ready to block your store when it opens. Thanks for letting us know
you are sketchy! 😆
