No, so long as it is LEGO. Even common low demand items sell if they are priced
right. It might be that the price is so low that it is not worth the effort of
selling, but that is a different thing. The opposite also happens. Some rare
items don't sell here if the seller is expecting a very high price.

I've sold a few Chima sets recently, at about 3x their cost to me (equalling
about 1.5x RRP). It wouldn't surprise me if they are sought after in 10 years
time, when kids that had some first time around have both jobs and nostalgia.

I was pleasantly surprised by how just about everything sells on this site and
the other one. If you have a good selection, good prices, and buyer-friendly
terms you can sell just about anything Lego here. Sometimes, the problem is just
keeping pieces available.

BTW, it also surprises me how so many people have trouble giving a validated
address!

That set is pretty poor, but then it was a give away with a burger meal. I have
quite a bit of regular Galidor and I find it sells reasonably well. Some parts
are useful for MOCs of large scale creatures, robots or aliens. Many people joke
about it online, but I really wonder how many of those have actually used it.

+1 it sells somewhat well all things considered. I’ve sold several new sealed

The more you have of any theme, the better it sells. 25+ pounds should sell relatively
well to collectors of weird and odd LEGO items. I have a lot of weird items that
only a handfull of people in the world would probably want, but it is neat to
have some stuff like that. I think a lot of people are like me, and like to get
things to learn about the large history that is the LEGO system.

On this site, that is probably right unless it is themed such as Thomas the Tank
Engine. But for local sales (collection only, on facebook), I find bulk Duplo

Absolutely.

I had a brand new sealed Cybermaster in its shiny Aluminium mallet, kept for
15+ years.
Very rare, New, Shiny, perfect.

But last year I decided to part it out.

No one would buy the Set except for maybe 120€/150€ (don't forget taxes and
shipping), which is close zero "margin"

Many rare Sets (especially technic/electric/electronic dated like this one) -
or parts simply won't sell.
