... maybe, but how La Poste would see it's BrickLink who takes care of the
VAT if I don't give them BrickLink's EORI number?
In short - please provide the EORI number in those documents, or/and in Help,
or even as a PM
For maybe a year it's mandatory I lose 5 to 10€ for each shipping
as I've to use a more expensive Shipping Method (La Poste Colissimo International)
instead, which doesn't - for now - requests specifically an EORI number.
Theorically it's required for any Shipping Method:
Anyway, BrickLink is not importing or exporting anything from the EU to the UK,
you are.
So it’s either La Poste or you who should have an EORI. Still not BrickLink.
To support the previous paragraph, I would quote a wise man who wrote on the
forum too:
“You're a grand'ma sending a gift, you go to the post office, they'll
help you to fill the gift thing.
Anyway, BrickLink is not importing or exporting anything from the EU to the UK,

Erm - yes maybe, but then if we've an EORI, I understood we've to pay
them the VAT (we don't have), wouldn't we?
In other words, BrickLink cashes the VAT, so it should be BrickLink EORI?
It's really not clear and Help page doesn't... help: there isn't
a single EORI mention there.

For some weird reason I... remember BL providing some other number other
than VAT number to put on the packages. But perhaps I am thinking about BO and
just remembering wrong.
Is it enough to just use BL's VAT ID - both electronically and by attaching
a physical copy of the BL's special invoice - or is EORI also necessary?
I used to see it somewhere... I am sure. But can not find any mention of it anywhere
now.

Sort of - for 2 years now I disabled Delivengo (a La Poste "subsidiary"
shipping to UK.
No EORI no shipping, that's it.

It really depends what's your shipper requires.
I ship regularly to UK using other methods with no problem.

An Economic Operators Registration and Identification number (EORI number) is
only required if you are a business moving goods to or from the UK. So, because
it is the sellers that are the ones importing the goods into the UK, either they
are a business and they need their own EORI number or they use a postal/courier
service which has its own EORI number.
Here's the quote from our Help page: https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=2514:
If you are a seller who is selling items from and to the UK, you may need to
obtain an Economic Operators Registration and Identification number (EORI number).
To see if this applies to you, please visit this website: https://www.gov.uk/eori

Thanks for your help, even if it took almost 2 years
Problem is, I'm kind of reluctant to get an UK EORI number because they may
ask me to declare the amount of shipped goods and ask me to pay UK VAT on this
- while it's already been paid from the marketplace...
