| Hi all!
Is there someone who knows this yellow one?
- Written '542' on the lower part. The letters before '542' is
unreadable for me, maybe 'S.Q.U.I.D' ?
- '@2021 The LEGO Group.' on the pole part.
- 23L, 18cm
Thanks in advance

Am I wrong in thinking that this is a sprue that somehow slipped out of a factory?
It looks unlike anything I've seen before.

Do LEGO clips clip onto the side of it?
Does any part of it fit, with a firm and proper grip, into a brick or stud, anywhere?
Can you get some pics of it next to other genuine LEGO elements?
At least it has the LEGO logo on it. That means you could sell it on this site
as a custom item, since it doesn't seem to be a regular item.
Did you receive this in a new sealed set? If so, which set number?
That's a very nice find. Some people might buy rare finds like this, for
a small amount of money, though. Due to it's length you should be careful
if and or when packing and shipping it.
Cheers ...

I got a box full of old LEGO parts a few years ago, and found this pole recently,
so I don't know where this came from or what set this was in.
I bought a cheap macro lens so that you can maybe read the letters and the mark
(please see the 3rd photo). I hope someone knows the mark.
I don't think anyone wants to buy this (if this is not a part of some set),
but it's nice to be put on BL catalogue.
Thanks!

It would need to be a part from a sealed set in order to be added to the BrickLink
Reference Catalog.
Items like these rarely get added to the Catalog unless there is a significant
and valid reason to do so. They don't come in regular LEGO sets, so selling
it as a custom item is the way to list it. Or just keep it, it's a one of
a kind part.
Cheers ...

Hello!
Thank you for letting me know.
I nearly added it to BL catalog.
Not catalog, but a custom item.

It might be clutch strength measuring/testing tool that they use in the mould
making department. I vaguely remember something like this having come up on a
LEGO-site a while back.
