| September 24th marks 13 years since Dan Jezek, BrickLink founder, passed away.
After such an incredible period of BrickLink growth, Dan would have been proud
to see so many millions of LEGO enthusiasts around the world still enjoying the
website he launched live, June 19, 2000. BrickLink was his life's joy and
purpose and truly a dream come true. It's still a place where people can
meet, trade, talk and share their "love for the brick". Yes Dan, when
it comes to BrickLink, everything still is awesome!
Please take a moment's pause to remember Dan and his legacy he left behind.
Dan is not here now, but he truly has united us all with a single click.

As is our tradition, we paused all catalog approvals on the 24th in Dan's
memory. We think he would be pleased to see the large number of catalog submissions
we are receiving and also the high level of detail involved in our current approval
process.

Thank you, Russell. It's truly a thoughtful tradition that has great meaning
to us. I know there are many new members on BrickLink since Dan's passing
who never knew or had the chance to interact with him personally, but they all
enjoy what he's left behind. So long as that continues, he'll never
be forgotten here on BrickLink.

| While I never had the privilege to know him, his legacy lives on through this
incredible platform that has brought joy to countless LEGO enthusiasts like myself.
My thoughts are with you parents on this day as we remember his contributions
to our community. Rest in peace Dan.

| A gift one receives grows when shared with many.
Dan shared his gift with all here present, now, in the past and the times to
come.
He realized a dream that continues to attract new members on a daily basis.
Dan truly left his gift for us to take care of.
Be humble.
Be thankful.
Stay sane all, and thanks Eliska for keeping Dan's flame alive!
