The NHC has begun issuing statements on Tropical Depression 10, which is likely
to become the ‘I’ storm for 2023. Long range track (which can be subject to great
errors) is for landfall very late Tuesday night / early Wednesday morning.
If the current track and speed of advance holds., I will be closing my store
early on Tuesday morning (around 1000-1100 UTC), shipping anything that I have
payment for, and then preparing for the storm.
Other Florida store operators, from Lee county all the way to Panama City should
please keep advised of the latest progress reports from NHC.

How much time will it take to get your store's LEGO into a secure location?

Update:
Tuesday night was spent at a local shelter, with about 60 others residents.
A rotted pine tree collapsed during the hurricane, and obliterated my mailbox
(with pin-point accuracy). A new one will have to be ordered and installed.
Power is off. Without it I cannot do things like air-condition, and print postage.
Central Florida Electric Coop has about 24k customers without service, out of
a total of 36k. The entire feeder from the substation is out (~900 customers).
no ETA, so I wait and do cleanup outside.
No physical damage to the residence.
I am closed, possibly a for week. As bad as things are here, the situation at
Cedar Key and Perry are likely worse.

A new rotted pine tree?
More seriously, glad nothing worse happened. Keep safe
Glad to hear you are safe, hope you get sorted soon.

New mailbox ordered, doing random cleanup. Decent rest last night. Things are
slowly returning to normal. I got off lucky, some people have trees on top of
their homes. Many oak trees lost limbs, and a few toppled. Old growth pines generally
were made/designed to survive hurricanes. Onward !

Power and AC are both stable. As I have a small temporary mailbox up, I have
re-opened for orders.
