On july 27 an puyer (is also registered as seller) with 1 feedback (so fairly
new) placed a small order. I send him an invoice that day. On augus 1 (he had
not payed yet) in mailed him an reminder. He did not respond or pay. On august
4 I send him an email with the second reminder. He still did not pay or respond.
Today, august 6 I send him a new invoice and a last reminder. After that he first
send me a Order cancel Request an right after that an NSS. Besides the fact that
it is pretty brutal in my opinion, I find it very remarkable that Bricklink makes
it possible for a buyer to issue an NSS on an unpaid order. Can someone explain
that to me?

Was it to be paid offsite or onsite? If the former then BrickLink doesn't
"know" whether or not it's paid.

the thing is..
Dutch sellers to Dutch buyers use banktransfer [IBAN]
and how should we prove to Bricklink that no payment came in...send a screenshot
of my account ??...i hope not
is it not the buyer that has to prove he paid?

also
the problem is the second invoice that sets the clock back for an NPB alert.
only thing you can do is wait the 6 days to file NPB.
what I do not know is if it is possible as seller to initiate NPB while the same
buyer has filed NSS earlyer
I have never seen this and cannot find in in the T.O.S

maybe someone from admin is reading this also ..and are able to help???

I’d hope so too.  Even if the seller was asked to show their account (!!), the
buyer will still have to say to which account the money was sent and when.

I think you have to wait for the NSS to complete or be cancelled because there’s
only one state possible.  (Or wait for BrickLink XQ: Quantic Experience )

If he has not yet paid, issue NPB alert. That should get his attention.

You, as the seller, have implied rights to have the order he placed with you
paid for. If the buyer won't do that, complete the NPB.

NSS or not, if he hasn't paid for his order, BrickLink will eventually see
that is the case, and should side with you, unless the buyer can provide proof
of payment, and you can claim the money from said proof. In that case, both you
and the buyer should wait for the package to arrive, to ensure that nothing goes
wrong with the package whilst in transit.

Cheers ...

Note also that if the payment method required taxes be collected by BrickLink,
because it is now a marketplace, that it must be one of the onsite methods that
are supported by BrickLink, because it is tax evasion if the payment is not submitted
properly.

If the buyer provides a proof of payment that was not onsite when it was supposed
to be onsite, refund the payment, and tell them that they must use the onsite
payment method.
