A great man who built a great website that continues to give me great joy. I
work my heart out to keep this place thriving in his honor.
I am glad that Bricklink provides a source of comfort. Every user remembers
and celebrates Dan and what his labor of love has brought to the world - even

I am always amazed at what Dan did. From nowhere he created both a place to sell
Lego and a place to document and keep track of what Lego produced. Even Lego
itself does not do that historically. He had foresight to to build a platform
that was for lovers of Lego, create a community, a safe place to buy and sell
Lego, and a place where no one would make fun of you for loving a child's
toy. He founded the only web site where AFOLs could flourish and find what they
needed to enhance there own creativity and could financially help support an
expensive hobby.
No one really knows the total extant of joy he created. Each of us knows how
he made each of us happy with his baby, Bricklink.
Ma'am, you raised a very important person.
