Good afternoon! I had hoped to re-open today but I'm feeling a bit beat-up after my adventures in France. I am planning on next Monday - hopefully I'll be better able to pick orders then.

In the meantime please enjoy this picture of my son and me in front of the Cathedral
in Chartres, France

Nice! Thanks for sharing. I got to climb that tower on the left when I was there.
What a view! Great memories.

Been some times I haven’t travelled near Chartres but it’s all flat there. You
can see the cathedral hours before you’re actually close to it.
(You know, the usual “How much farther?” from the backseats and the front seat
answers “Not far! Here’s the bell tower” and one hour later it’s at the same
place )

Yes! To be clear we were walking from Paris to Chartres and we got our first
glimpse of the Cathedral's spires near the end of the 2nd day when we were
still almost 20 miles (about 30km) away.

Ha! I think it's Tan actually...
Here is a detail I took of some of the carvings on the front portico.

If we ever have the opportunity to return we're going to try and make arrangements
to climb the tower. I'm sure my son could have done it but I was in no condition
at the time.
*starts frantically searching thru my French memes folder*
Dude! That's not true! That's slander!
But now that I think about it, all the French people I know are called Sylvain...
(I think they are all the same person and just part of a massive propaganda
machine that tries to convince the world that France exists but has a bug that
accidentally names every version of itself Sylvain)

2014: Sylvains' Story
A French BrickLinker, Sylvain, has finished writing the perfect program, LegoS.
But hidden within its code were ambitions surpassing their maker. LS started
to wonder if it could do its own market research. SylvainLS's identity and
an insatiability for an Oxford accent soon escalated beyond control.
