only to the right buyer but id imagine the amount of people who would want to
collect the sealed cardboard box is minimal so if you were to get more it would
likely take significantly longer to sell

Will the transport cardboard box add any value or?
Those white plastic bands slide on and off very easily, and can be faked easily.
Even if there is a sealed LEGO set in the box, it would be preferable to open
the contents and verify it. You could get in a lot of trouble if someone swapped
the set out for an equal weight of rocks.
The moral of the sealed box is this:
If it looks too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true.
Buyer beware takes priority in this case. No pun intended.
Time value; yes. When it comes time to sell, you're ready to go. Just
slap a label on it and send it. I generally write the weight and dimensions
on the box so I don't even need to do that step when it ships.
