Whats the key to getting more sales? I've had over 800 people look but only
4 people have purchased.
List list list. Also posting up to several times a day in the forums will generally
only turn buyers away but for the most part just list since the more you have
for sale the more orders you will get. More consistent sales start to happen
once you get closer to 10k lots for sale

Posting sales”
Sets do sell but slowly. Parts are where you will make consistent sales. Get
your lot totals up with parts and sets and you will start to see more sales.

If the sets are priced good and are desirable or you have many thousands of different
parts for sale yes but with a small inventory only a few sales a month is normal

You cannot expect people to pay a minimum of $5 shipping (*which is roughly the
going rate) without a decent inventory. It is just proportionally too much to
spend, especially on small orders.
For example, I used to make lots of lower value impulse buys back when shipping
was $2-3. It was much easier to justify placing a hundred or so orders annually
(on BL alone). Now I'm in the 30-40 range and have alternative sources for
parts/sets.

And they are all used jewels... and you're nearly 300% (pre sale) more expensive
than every one else with those for sale... And there are 370,000 other new and
used trans red jewels available for sale... And you're priced higher than
nearly 350,000 of them.
Other items you have priced correctly, like (crap, system went down for maintenance...
I'm going to keep typing and just send later.)
I've only been selling for about 11 months (closed for almost all of last
year) so take what I have to say with a grain of salt - but - I didn't start
making consistent sales until I was over 1000 lots and 50,000 parts. Sometimes
I have orders that are 100x of 1 lot, other times I have orders that are 1x of
100 lots. I just boils down to quantity and quantity of quantities.

It’s all about inventory and unique types of pieces. The more variety you have,
the more buyers you will attract. Think of it as going to the gas station for
some auto accessories (oil, car freshener, etc) vs going to wal mart. More variety
= more sales.
You have 800 store views because you’ve posted many times in the forum. People
click on a store out of curiosity from forum posts, not because they have any
intention of actually buying. If you hadn’t posted on the forum, you’d likely
have about 50 store views. (It’s a meaningless stat).
