what do you use to label acro drawers. getting ready to start switching from
bins to the drawers. hopefully speed up picking orders
I bought pre-printed vinyl label rolls from Amazon, mine have held up fine in
the garage for over 4 years. I think i bought 0-4000. Mine were the perfect size
for the small drawers. High contrast, so easy to see. Saved my printer. I see
there are now ones with barcodes.

I didn't know about those. I painstakingly made each sticker for mine with
my DYMO handheld labeler. I also printed bar codes on Avery compatible address
label sheets. I also have a laser printer for that, so my ink/toner overhead
is low.

I just print out the codes on 1x3 inch pieces of paper and then tape those to
the bins. That way when I need to move to a larger or smaller bin I just peal
off the tape and move the label without needing to worry about Goo-Gone.

Currently, I print the labels on paper and tape them to my bins/drawers. Used
to use a thermal printer, but the climate control in awful in our storage building,
and it doesn't take long for the labels to lose their adhesive and fall off,
nor for the label to wear away from handling it so much.

Used to use a handheld dymo but upgraded to a Brother P-Touch PRO-XL (PC-9500)
you can buy for $50 or so used on eBay. I can use a ton of different sizes and
make them all cut to perfect length.
Can print a set of 60 labels in about 2 minutes with no effort as you can use
an excel sheet as a database to print any number you want. Takes a heck of a
lot longer to apply them to the drawers than make them.
