I can't find this in the catalogue. Looks like a town plan board but it's
not the UK/Australian version. This is the Canadian Samsonite version. Anyone
have any info on this or if it's already in the catalogue?

Looks like it has the same layout as this one but as you say, it's Samsonite,
not the European version:
So can I assume this version isn't in the catalogue?

Sure, there were two designs depending on what year the board was made. Theoretically
you should have two catalog entries for each version. Practically speaking LEGO
of this era isn't a strong seller, so I figure it's best to go where
the buyers are.

LEGO from this area is very difficult to buy here because there is so much missing
and the inventories are really messy*. If we clean up this mess, buyers will
come here for the classic items also.
* set numbers remained in use for a long time, while the contents changed over
time, had regional differences and changed the packaging. Collecting these, or
even researching early part history to collect them all later, through BrickLink
is difficult.

As a collector I too would love to see a fully accurate catalog. My issue though
lies with how the database is currently designed. If we were to add all possible
permutations I feel like it would make for a very cluttered catalog. You still
need to balance the needs of new users alongside everyone else.
I mean with LEGO it's been chaos since day one, and that hasn't let up
ever since. Even with more modern stuff it's either been cataloged or
ignored for brevity sake.

The difference between the European Town plan with right-hand traffic and the
Samsonite Town plan is the reverse side.
