I've just noticed a difference in the Trans Light Blue Duplo Orcas: some
are one-eyed, others have both eyes. Can anyone confirm this and have an explanation
for it?
I assume that its Air bubbles trapped inside during the molding process.

While they look like bubbles, they just seem too perfectly symmetric in the one
that has two and too reproducable in location to be random in the others.

OK then they are Pirate Orca's whose eyepatch was ripped off when they jumped
from the sea.
But if the mold is always oriented in the same direction, the bubbles would always
rise to the same place.

As I said: I don`t think these are air bubbles, there`s a open cavity in the
inside.
Maybe someone who owns an orca could look at?
I've 6 trans light blue Duplo Orcas. They all have two eyes.
As orcas sleep with only one eye closed at a time, we may pretend that two of
your orcas are asleep.

But from your input (including pics) it's obviously a mold anomaly. Misprints,
there are galore. But mold mishaps are far fewer. Very nice collectible, imho
Hmmm part of me is thinking there has to be a reason why they didn’t but that
might be the best course of action. I would but I’m not at my pc for a while
now
