I actually found 7 extra pins, but, as was confirmed from other online sources,
Bag 6 was missing 3 pins. That left me with a grand total of 4.
I am surprised you didn't find extra pins in bag 7?

Oh, that's very interesting. I am only finished with bag 4 and have checked
everything because I already had 5 parts of 2780 left.
Unfortunately, I can only continue my construction on Wednesday.
I would like to propose that you please leave my request open. I will report
exactly where parts of 2780 are left over or missing.
I can do that very precisely because bags 5 to 7 are still in their original
packaging.

We will both have to let the admins decide. 
But I am very interested to see what you turn up. Our sets are from different
regions so there may well be some variation between them.
It's a very challenging set to build, is it not?

to submit change requests for extra parts anymore, before you have opened all
the bags and checked the whole set contents. You didn't mention you only
opened 4 bags in your comments and it's really impossible to know that there
are 5 extra when you still have more bags to open. Fortunately I got all the
info from Jennifer, when the Inventory was submitted, so I wouldn't have
approved this request without asking for more info, but I hope you understand
that the whole set has to be checked before you know how many extra parts are
in it.

I would be surprised if spare parts from earlier bags are needed in later bags.
I've never seen that before - but that doesn't mean anything.
So I will build and document everything exactly from Wednesday and report back
here.

So i have an Update....
Bag 5 have the exactly right quantity of 2780 parts.
Bag 6 is actually missing two pieces of 2780. I have never seen before, That
I need a spare part from a earlier bag later.
Tomorrow i will complete my construction with bag number 7.
If there the right quantity or one spare part of 2780.
