An image of an unboxed used set doesn't say much, but the inventory of this
set was submitted based on Instructions, and it doesn't make sense that a
Medium Orange 3437 would appear in a set from 2006 between all Bright Light Orange
from 2004-2022.
The PCC for Bright Light Orange showed in instructions 3294 seems to be from
2004: 4226194

Two other sets need Medium Orange parts to be changed as main parts.
9233’s Brickset inventory contains a Nougat 3437 but it’s likely that this part
never actually made it into sets. We know that some of LEGO’s inventories contain
the latest parts that were meant to be included in some sets that were around
during transition periods. 9239 contains an Earth Orange 3437 and has the same
tractor and Dark Orange brick. Brickset doesn’t have any Earth Orange 3437s because
that color was retired during a transition period, so all sets that originally
had those bricks were given new colors. I believe both sets have Earth Orange
2x2s.
The dinosaur set still needs to be fixed. PCCs exist for unprinted Bright Light
Orange dinosaurs that would have first appeared in 2007. Medium Orange’s last
appearance was in a set from 2005 that I own and can confirm came with older
colors. If a color’s last year is 2005 then it is likely correct, as that year
saw the end of around 22 colors.
