| I came across this part today and found it in 2 different colours
I looked around and couldn't find any other version of this part listed.
In person it doesn't look faded or anything as it in almost mint-like
condition
Please let me know the best way to proceed.

It looks to be a misprint. Maybe this is like how in some sets part 3626bpb0664
( stormtrooper head from 2012) sometimes has a flesh colored face, and other
instances has a white face, and yet there is no difference on the inventory of
the Minifigure.

It does have two separate PCCs (Element Numbers) in the catalog, so it possibly
could have been a color change. I will need to look into it.
