This one is a bit tougher to tell, so I'll let catalog admins come to their own conclusion. This part is known to exist in Reddish Gold and not Copper. It is not nearly brown enough to be Copper or yellow enough to be Pearl Gold.

Bionicle fan here. Sorry I don't know how the forums or part change requests
work, but I hope to give you and the rest of bricklink some info on a topic I
am passionate about. All of the Large Figure Parts currently listed in Copper
should be Reddish Gold, with the exception of 54183pb01.

This goes for:
50629
50602
50616
50624
47460
50623

Three more pieces which I believe need to be updated: set 50616 lists 50616,
47474, and 50658c01pb02 as pearl light gold when they are in fact just regular
pearl gold with perhaps a different tint than what we now consider standard,
because the color was new. Pearl light gold, flat dark gold, and reddish gold
were all discontinued and replaced by pearl gold in 2005, while this set comes
out in 2006. I don't own the set, but here is a photo example:
https://media.karousell.com/media/photos/products/2021/7/14/lego_king_jayko_knights_kingdo_1626250876_8cd3ec9d_progressive.jpg
And a photo of what pearl light gold actually looks like:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/126975831@N07/15073823841
In the first photo, you can see that the torso and crown are clearly very similar
in color to the 2x3 pieces on the thighs, which are definitively pearl gold.
The plastic in the torso and crown is physically different from regular lego
pieces though, it feels to me like a much cheaper toy. So I can see why the color
may have come out different. We all know how bad pearl gold can be though!

To further complicate matters, 50629 and 50602 are also available commonly in
pearl gold as alternates, but I don't know which set they come from. When
lego discontinued the three colors of gold in 2006, they continued to produce
some existing sets with pearl gold instead. Two sets from 2005 fit the description,
8791 Sir Danju and 8796 King Mathias, but I have yet to see photo evidence of
either coming in pearl gold - due in large part to them being sets that are not
remembered very fondly! Personally I believe it must only be Sir Danju, because
King Mathias is a much more common set and yet for as many shoulder and thigh
armor pieces as I have in pearl gold, none of my crowns or swords match in pearl
gold. I also do not own Danju's sword, shield, or torso in pearl gold, but
I own only one copy of the set to compare. Danju's sword has two past listings
on bricklink in pearl gold while mathias's does not, though this is hardly
proof because there are other pieces which appeared in sets only in 2004 which
cannot have been in pearl gold erroneously being sold on bricklink as pearl gold.
Additionally, the physical plastic material of the torso, shield, sword, and
armor feel different to me, so it's entirely possible that the pearl gold
variants of the set did not have all matching pieces. If my recommendation means
anything, I am confident enough that I believe bricklink should move ahead by
adding at least 50629 and 50602 as alternates in pearl gold on 8791 Sir Danju,
and wait for confirmation on the other three parts in the set.

I don't know the timeframes of when the sets were released, but it's
entirely possible that 65769 Vladek Value Pack was the only later production
run of the Danju set and is the only way to have gotten the pearl gold variants.
This would complicate how multi-set inventories are recorded, though this is
pure speculation.

There are two other pieces afflicted by this color change, this time in Bionicle.
Set 8759 has piece 50913 available in pearl gold as an alternate to flat dark
gold. Set 8758 has the same affliction for 44815b, but this is already recorded
in the bionicle catalog. Again we can look at sets released in 2005 for possible
candidates for pearl gold variants, and 8757 has raised many an eyebrow, but
so far there have been no confirmed sightings of 50907 in pearl gold. (If you
find one, please send it to me!)

A bit late, but yes! All of these parts have been on my radar for quite some
time, especially the 'Pearl Light Gold' pieces that are absolutely NOT
Pearl Light Gold. These will have to be edited later, but I do have a checklist
of the pieces that came in Reddish Gold and of the inventories that still need
fixing.

Once Reddish Gold gets fully sorted out (it should have come in 25 parts in about
28 sets), Randy suggested adding a ‘Metallic Copper’ to clear out the five parts
that color came in. After that, BL Copper will only contain two colors. I’d like
to see the 2017 ‘Copper’ be added as ‘Dark Copper’ or ‘Pearl Dark Orange’.

I was thinking about metallic copper also, they look metallic.
Don't know about the Pearl Dark Orange, is that the Lama? I only found earlier
copper parts so far.

copper parts so far.

These parts are 139 Copper: 53989, 553b, 553pb01, 75c06, 75c08, 75c20, 54183pb01,
53984, 60752, 30602, and 53988.

These are 300 Copper Dr.Lacq: 71015, 60748, 60751, 90398, and 53705.

These are 346 Copper Metallic: 11305, 41202, 91884, any part under 37720, all
28587s, 11156, 93247, 10050, 21333pb04, 98382pb010, 11603pb04, 11575pb03, and
65405pb01.

Anything else is 189 Reddish Gold and just hasn’t been moved yet. Interestingly,
there is NO overlap between any part/color.
