We have been piecing together Friends sets from a bulk purchase and came to the
conclusion it would be great to have some sort of tag in set inventories that
can be shown when a complete set of stickered counterparts have been added to
a set inventory.

Currently:
- You have to cross reference the stickered parts in the inventory with the sticker
sheet to establish if you have all the correct parts.

Once this suggestion is implemented:
- You would see that the set you are compiling parts for has something stating
'all the stickered counterparts needed for this set are included in the set
inventory'.

Then you simply head to that section of the inventory first and once you find
them all you know you have a complete set of stickered parts before you start
looking for all the plain parts.

Curious if anyone thinks this would be a good idea? If so then you are welcome
to add any other thoughts or functionally for the site to consider.

Paul.

Could be useful.

I think that’s rare (except for old trains) but what about a note whether all
the stickers on the stickersheet are used or if there are spares or alternates?

A somewhat serpentine and covoluted breakdown of what is a confusing, yet long
needed catalog-confluence solution.

You gotta ask? Go for it!

Yes!

Also:

It would be very useful when looking for random stickered parts that are not
yet in the catalog to have a flag on sets with or without complete stickered
counterparts. That way, we could start our search with only those sets whose
parts are still missing.

It would need 3 data points: Set has a sticker sheet and set has missing/complete
counterparts.

However, I think this would have to be a background setting that members could
opt into. If it was just indicated by another symbol like the '!' or
the '*' on the thumbnails, it would just generate tons of What's
That? questions.

This is a *very* good suggestion, Paul. I think that would be wonderful information
to have available for sellers and those of us on the catalog team.

Cheers,
Randy
