as a minifigure with it's own inventory. Anyhow Guido (the blue car) isn't
there as a Minifigure.
We think it would be more logical to add all parts into the inventory like we
can find in the inventory of the instrucation. And than add Luigi and Guido as
Alternative parts. This would be the same "system" like we find for assembled
animals like sharks, dinos and crocodiles.
What do you think about this? Your opinion would be helpful before we start a
request to change the inventory.

That would be more confusing, as it would be yet another different way to the
other cars that are minifigures. The powers that be decided these cars are minifigures.
So just do a request to add the new minifigure and remove the relevant parts
from the inventory.

Guido has not been added to the catalog yet. That is the only reason why he is
missing from the inventory.

A decision was made some time ago that all cars figures should be minifigures.
Therefore the only change that is missing here is to add Guido (when he's
in the catalog) and remove his parts from the regular items section.
I know the minifigure classification is a difficult topic and I personally don't
like large brick-build assemblies (like cars) in the minifigure section, but
I respect the decision and I know there are some good reasons to include the
cars figures as minifigures. To see the complete parts list you can still use
the "Break Minifigures" option.
Thank you both for your answers. Our missing piece was the thread that the cars
are defined as minifigures. Now it's clear and we know how to handle it in
the future.
For sure, we do not want to start another discussion about Minifigure or not-
this has been done enough here

Does that same decision also cover the various Racers sets, and the Racer cars
in them ?
Both of those are being presented as minifigures, but they are single molded
pieces and not the complete car. I was always under the impression that Freeze
and Chill were the complete assembly, including those pieces (not to mention
the other Racers beyond 4579-1).

The 2001 catalog clearly describes them as "drivers" and "their cars". So I don't
think the cars should be part of the figures.
