See first picture, I received the two parts on the right, and I already had the

Three are the "older" Pearl Dark Gray (LEGO color 148 Dark Grey Metallic), and
the other one is the "newer" Pearl Dark Gray (LEGO color 316 Titanium Metallic).

Of course Randy's encyclopedia braid knew this. I've never paid close
attention to pearl dark grays. Always assumed any of the "pearls" could vary
more widely due to the noticeable swirls you see. Didn't realize it was a
different LEGO color, but same BL color.

The color switched in 2010 along with the newer Flat Silver with the introduction
of Hero Factory.
