The legs on the left are 970c00pb0457 and allegedly appear on 11 mini figures
but if you look at the images of the 11 figures, 5 of them have actually got
legs as pictured on the right hand image. They miss the centre line on the hips
and the horizontal line across the groin area.
HP179, SW0662, SW0854, HP182, SH585 and HP134 use the legs 970c00pb0457
HP229, HP209, HP232, HP255 and SH614 use the other legs which, as yet, I can’t
find listed on catalogue.

Thanks for pointing this out. This has now been split into 2 new entries below
(thanks Axaday) and 970c00pb0457 will be marked for deletion once removed from
inventories.
Can we just go by the pics and fix them or do the minifigs need to be replaced?

I think for some we can go by the pics but not all figures have photos submitted
by the person who inventoried the set. And we maybe have to split a few minifigures
from the transition period if they came with both variants. I will check that
later this week.

I will look at what I have. I can fake the Nick Fury, of course. I think I
might have Cedric Diggory.

Hi! Good catch!
For what concern SH minifigures, I can say that I have opened several 76130 and
76153 and trusting in BL inventory I didn't notice the difference.
76130 had always SH585a (hips decorated)
76153 had always SH585b (hips not decorated)
About SH614, I opened 3 o 4 and I always found the legs without the decorated
hips (It is mine the current picture on BL), so, I think that the image of LEGO
was probably an old render. Someone found SH614 with decorated hips?
Thanks!
Mirko

Meanwhile I have added a new picture of sh585a with better quality.

In your experience it is a "continental difference" (USA market / EU market)
or only a difference based totally on casuality?

As said, the new variant was most likely introduced in spring 2020 and all those
sets were released before spring 2020 but were (or are) still in production after
spring 2020. I checked them on Youtube and found evidence for both variants in
all of them. Will add the links when adjusting the inventories.
