...there were no violet brick members here, and that it seemed like there wouldn’t
be any, anytime soon. Now, there are four Violet Brick Level members, with a
few others locked-in on final approach to the goal: https://www.bricklink.com/memberList.asp?pg=1&v=3

What do you think? Should another, perhaps unique or special color brick level
be set-up, for these rarefied members to attain? https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=54

I know it’s far from an important consideration now, but it is a fun one

Maybe someone can arrange some type of choice-of-color polling or vote, to see
what the next level color brick should be?

-popsicle

I vote for trans clear!

I think of the original Greedo, with the mention of that beautiful color!

Yeah, but how sweet would that be for you collectors, to have that pattern cemented
into site's recognition?

Alright. Or the 2x4, considering the popularity of 3001 collecting.

Why a brick? There Lego trophies made 15 to 20 years ago. Why not a picture

Need something both achievable and near impossible. Maybe a choose your own colour
brick from after violet. But a special symbol or something if someone made it
to violet brick or beyond with 0 negative feedback. A near impossible task but
would be amazing if someone did manage it.

Excellent thought! Offer the first member to reach the goal, the opportunity
to chose the brick color. Fantastic idea! And announce it, it'd be fun

Very creative. I like it! You don't happen to work in marketing, by chance?

And yes, seemingly impossible. But if someone manages it, give them the Moon,
I say. My money would be on Carol: https://www.bricklink.com/feedback.asp?u=carolannee

Just an after/added thought: maybe we can also stop using the number designation
(1-10) as level representation, giving the color brick itself, more gravitas
in that?

Is it really necessary? What do you think?

On the one hand, the colours aren’t in any recognizable order (not even the old
16-colour RGB palette), so the number is the only indication it’s a level.

On the other hand: who cares about the level?  It’s directly linked to the FB
so that’s all that needs to be shown.
(I get the “ooh, shiny, I went up a level!” but, well….)

Great input, Sylvain!

Yes, the feedback viewed with the brick next to it, will give the brick's
color it's respective gravitas.

What do you think? Should another, perhaps unique or special color brick level

I know it’s far from an important consideration now, but it is a fun one

Maybe someone can arrange some type of choice-of-color polling or vote, to see
what the next level color brick should be?

Paradisa Pink

Nita Rae

I'm confused, would that be light pink or to some, rose?

I found this catalog item description didn't help clear it up for me...

Part No: 973pb0018c01 Name: Torso Shirt Tied at Bottom with Blue Flowers, Yellow Neck and Stomach Pattern / Yellow Arms / Yellow Hands
*
973pb0018c01 (Inv) Torso Shirt Tied at Bottom with Blue Flowers, Yellow Neck and Stomach Pattern / Yellow Arms / Yellow Hands
Parts: Minifigure, Torso Assembly, Decor.
Yet, I can't find that color named in BL's color guide

And when you view the torso assembly listing from the minifig's inventory
page, you get this description

Maybe I just need my morning coffee

Paradisa Pink isn’t recognized as a distinct colour.  So the part is Pink in
the inventory.  But the description is more precise and tells us it’s not common
Pink but Paradisa Pink.

A new brick would be interesting for the high end.

I know the question wasn't pointed at me, but Metallic Gold first came to
mind, but might look too much like the low-class yellow. Perhaps Metallic Silver.
Some special color.

Or the "Chrome" colors? Chrome Black is extremely special and beautiful imho.
But perhaps too serious. How about one of the other Chrome colors?

Ah, of course. That would be, in no particular order, Fluoxetine, Alprazolam,
Melatonin (5mg), ES Tylenol, 12-flavor gummy bears, the exhaust fumes from an
old-school USPS delivery vehicle (LLV), the inside of a Wal-Mart men's room
just prior to its monthly cleaning and, of course, dealing with...er, I mean
talking with you lovely people.

Okay, I (still) work for the USPS, I admit it.

I don't know about "disgruntled", but I will accept "pissed off". And yeah,
my Grumman LLV rolled off the assembly line in September of 1993 (so says the
metal tag on inside of the tray-side door). It hasn't had AC for at least
two decades, but I'm relatively lucky in having one of the 40% still in service
where the heater still works.

Probably a lighter color, like white or trans-clear, since most of the colors
are already taken.

The new term is now Nougat. Don't worry though John, it doesn't apply
to Mattel and your Barbie harem (I mean collection) yet...

It just sounds wrong. Nougat eating zombies. He put his hand in the garbage
disposal and it ripped off all his nougat on his fingers.
I wonder what color the old Indian (native American) sets call the their heads
now.
