| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Change {5 to 4} Part Light Bluish Gray 85861 Plate, Round 1 x 1 with Open Stud (Extra)
Comments from Submitter:
My new set only had 4 extra of this part instead of 5, could someone please validate this? Thanks!

This change request will be rejected.
from help page https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=1562
"Removing/Changing Extras - Parts in the Extra Items section of an inventory
are variable, meaning that some sets or gear may include them and others may
not. The quantity of extra parts may also vary. Extra parts are typically not
removed from inventories or reduced in quantity unless it can be determined that
they were originally added in error."

Also, the person who originally inventoried the set is a well-respected former
inventories administrator. If Jen said her copy of the set came with 5 extras,
then I have little doubt that it is true.

Thanks Guys,
I fully understand the logic behind all this, however I own all Lego Minecraft
sets and found no errors in other inventories (extra included) to date, except
this one. I know Jennnifer is a trusted source, but I also completed her inventory
of 41144-1 (Petite's Royal Stable) with missing extras. I just wanted to
ask if anybody else had the set and could double check this, the extras in those
sets don't change in quantity from what I have seen, Lego QA is really reputable
on this. It would also indicate if I am the one missing a piece if there's
really 5 extra instead of 4.
Anyhow feel free to check this or not, I just wanted to make the inventory as
accurate as possible Just let me know if I can help in any way.
Thanks and have a good day!

I hope you didn't feel like your concerns were being dismissed. We do appreciate
any contributions you make.
If the Regular Items portion of an inventory is accurate, then the inventory
is accurate. The Extra Items section is provided as a courtesy to make partouts
easier and has little bearing on the accuracy of an inventory. If extra were
required to complete a model or included on official parts lists or part counts,
then it would be a different story.
That said, we would like to see the extras as accurate as possible, but their
natural variability makes true accuracy impossible. In other words, there is
no way to know for sure if the extras for one set will appear in exactly the
same way in another set.
