I think this would help a lot! Say you are going to put one of these parts up
for sale: [P=973pb202c01]
you should be able to click a button that tells you the statistics of value and
purchase frequency for each minifig
that the part is in.
That way, If I have the parts for a few of the minifigs the said part is in,
I can decide which one will get me the most bank!

I think he is meaning to sell it as a fig rather than parts, so would have to
check the price guide for each of the figs it is a part of. Still exists but
not as a one click function

Actually it is not. It should give you info for each minifig it is in, not the
part itself.

The problem is your assuming the torso is the prime source of value. [p=973c01]
in white averages $.69 used. The minifigs it appears in range from
$28.02 . The trick is the second one has a hat that averages
$25. So knowing the second makes you the most bank is not really useful.

I realize that, It is just an example.
It may have been too-specific an example.
Do you intend for the suggestion just to work with Torso Assemblies? Or just
with minifig parts?
Would the button you are proposing show up for every part? If so, what would
it show when you click on it? The sales history for every set that part has been
in? Every assembly it's in? Would you need to select the color of the part first?
Let's assume the narrowest answer, and you just want this for Torso Assemblies.
How would the resulting data be displayed? You don't actually state what "the
statistics of value" are. If you want a detailed price guide page, it would basically
be impossible to show this for multiple minifigs simultaneously. So you'd want
to have one on each page. But you can already do that now, by clicking on the
"View Them" link next to "This part appears in ... 6 minifigs".

Understanding of course that a seller wanting to maximize profit also says he
wants HIS buyers to have the least value for their money.

How did I communicate this?
I do not want to talk about the Canadian incident.
I realize now that that was a mistake.
I don't think that hurting me helps anyone else, by the way.
