| Let's say you're piecing back together in order to sell as a
used set. I'm about 95% sure I have all the pieces. It's a 40 year
old set and the molds and plastic has changed over the years, so if I happen
to discover a damaged or missing piece; how crucial is it for it to have to be
from the same era?

| As long as it's the right color and part number it should be fine to resell.
If there is a major condition or hue difference it might be worth noting in the
listing. Hope that helps.

| I’m going to politely disagree here and say that it is crucial to replace parts
with ones of the same era, or at least note the changes in your listing. If I’m
paying for a 40-year old set I want something authentic. The newer parts are
often much cheaper, which in my opinion devalues the set.
Just my opinion, but I’m a Castle fan and a pretty serious collector, so I imagine
other collectors of this theme would feel the same.

| ABSOLUTELY! +1
Any deviations (newer parts etc) should be noted by the seller in the listing....

| I wouldn't risk including newer pieces unless you note which pieces. That
is an expensive set.
