| I am not a seller so I only have a buyers account. I have added an order to the
"My Parts" section.
When I go to a store I do see the wanted quantity but not how many I have in
my parts already. I tried to use the filter option to hide parts "Have greater
than or equal to wanted" but the parts still show up in the store. I have
a lot of wanted lists and am trying not to buy too many extra parts when buying
stuff to fulfill my wanted lists. I bought parts before Christmas for a MOC and
ended up buying way more than needed since I was parting it out over a month
with stores that had sales and not doing a bulk buy.
For this function, do I need a Sellers account in order to have it in "Inventory"
instead of the "My Parts" list?

That would be “My Collection” (Parts section of…).
At the moment, there’s no link between My Collection and Wanted Lists and searches

That filter works on the Have field in Wanted Lists.
To modify that field, you have two possibilities:
1. Do it by hand, lot by lot.
2. Use the Apply Order button (on the top right when you’re looking at a WL).
BEWARE!!! This feature has been borken since its inception: it has no
memory! That means you can apply the same order multiple times / it won’t remember
some parts in an order were already used to complete another WL.

For now, the simplest is to use 3rd party tools, like BrickStore (application)
or Rebrickable (website, with a different catalogue so conversions may fail).

| Yeah, I use Brickstore to upload lists and update between Bricklink and Rebrickable.
What I am really looking to see if it exists is when randomly going through a
store I can see what I have in parts or at least hide the parts that I already
have enough of. Do you see your Inventory on the pages of other stores when you
look at them?

Great, that's the way!

No, and I mean, I don't see the point to show what you already have.
At the contrary, the idea is to make a list of what you don't have (Wanted-List),
then you can see this in ANY shop (or use Auto Buy or such).

| I basically part out sets or MOCs into individual wanted lists. Then I can search
stores for the wanted items. I do not use the buy all as I buy them over time
when I get some funds. I have a lot of wanted lists and to go through each to
find out which list has the items I purchased to manually remove the individual
items is a pain.
Seeing the option in the store to hide have greater than wanted would work but
I have tried that option and it still shows the items I have. This is why I was
wondering if the Sellers account shows something different because it uses inventory
instead of the my collection.

You've got to use the "Apply order" button in your wanted-lists.
Having multiple WL yes, could be a problem.
I use BrickStore (also) for this, I can remove the parts ordered (donwload order
then button "-" from the WL(s).
