| I'm looking to buy all 16 Elephants (elephant2c01) from a store in the Netherlands.
I can get a quote for all 16 including the shipping but how do I work out what
the total cost will be accounting for import fees, duty etc? Is this paid upfront
when I buy from BL or is it something I have to pay once it gets to customs?
Thanks

If the amount (for the elephants only) is below £135, BL will collect the UK
import VAT and you should not have to pay anything at reception. So it’ll be
shown at checkout.
If it’s above, you’ll have to pay at reception, plus a broker fee for RM (or
whoever delivers).

At the price they are, you are over the £135 threshold so VAT won't be added
on bricklink, but you will have to pay it when it arrives. Assuming the total
order is about £200 including shipping, the VAT will be an extra £40 and there
will be a further processing fee of £8-20 or so, depending on the courier.

I wouldn't - they don't like rain.
I'm having a small natural park of them in my shop, but at least the weather
is hot and dry here

Do you use them for logging the trees worth salvaging from the forest fires?

Good idea, it's often faaaaaaar too hot here.
Maybe like Florida weather here.
I mean: only the weather, not talking about other Florida's specifics...
