| I shipped the buyers order back in October and just now received negative feedback
after not hearing anything from them the entire time. Since I never received
any contact from them I figured the order got to them. Just checked and it was
lost in the mail. What do I need to do to get the negative feedback removed?
I also fully refunded after i checked the tracking.

You will need to contact the buyer and ask them if they'd consider removing
it now they have a refund.

Personally I wouldn't give instructions to the buyer, at least in the first
instance. Asking if they'd remove it or amend it along with instructions
telling them how comes over more as a command than a request, at least to me.

Plus:
* asking in Forum, good!
* admit having missed an e-mail, very good!
* have refunded because you understood buyer was right: proper move!
Food for thoughts for a seller:
* taking care of e-mails, being organized, place filters, check SPAM folders
from time to time?
* read TWICE and understand ALL TOS/Help pages, including feedback removal etc.
* when having a problem, simply communicate kindly with the buyer - make an effort,
do your best, try find comprehension?
But if nothing can be done - let it be and at least sleep well

You need to understand the underlying reason this happened (if it can be determined).
Did you print electronic postage containing the buyer's address, or did you
hand address and take it to the post office retail counter ?

Make sure you reply to their neg with an apology and a statement. Most people
will see that and see you are still a good seller if you are humble about the
mistake

Being humble as a seller is generally sound advise. But your comment "if
you are humble about the mistake" is confounding to this seller in this particular
transaction. What exactly is the "mistake" for which you're advising
the permanent public self-deprecation the OP should undertake
I know it's late, but I seem to be missing an amount of logic in your advise.

Bricklink will not help you in this case. Write to the buyer and ask them to
withdraw the feedback. This is the only option. Since it has been more than 30
days since you left your review, you can no longer change it. By chance?
Never leave a feedback until the order has been reported as complete by the buyer.
