| New BrickLink seller here, have had my first sale!
It went down the request invoice route, I had intended to be instant checkout
with Paypal. My buyer and I worked out the kinks, an invoice was issued and payment
made. Their purchases are now on their way to them.
However, when I went to update the status of the order to "Shipped",
I kept getting an error message saying it was an invalid status. Can the buyer
override this when they receive the package and move to Completed? Or will this
stop us completing the trade so can give feedback?
Any advice appreciated.

Try setting it to "PAID" first and then "SHIPPED" might open
up as a valid option.

| Cheers for the suggestion, but PAID comes before PACKED which is the status I'm
stuck on. SHIPPED is next then COMPLETED.

Actually, went through the status in the order you suggested and now at shipped.
The order I followed is how it is in the drop down. Know for next time - issue
resolved!

yeah, before IC, I remember there being something strange like that on occasion.
Like, you couldn't hop from Ready to Shipped without setting it to PAID and
hitting SUBMIT first. Some logic gate in the bowels of the code is my guess.
