Hi guys I have a question which is better buying a new or set on bricklink
or eBay I had a bad experience with a seller on eBay I had brought the set 42042
and I paid the guy the idiot and he didn’t ship the set until five days later
he kept telling me he was l looking for a box to ship it in but in the end he
finally ship it and I got it with a shipping box and it was warped in a paper
very thin like a printing paper and it came damaged the box with rips and holes
and I asked eBay for a refund but the seller refused to apply and he didn’t even
apologize guys is it better to buy from trustee sellers here on bricklink than
eBay with rude seller on eBay it almost took 5 days for him to ship and he had
complaints on his eBay account but the bags were sealed who sends a lego set
without a shipping box and he kinda mentioned that box was damaged but like
that and he had horrible pics on the site i couldn’t tell it looked

And guys on bricklink when I said said idiot it doesn’t go any one a seller
on bricklink you guys all are trrusted seller the idiot is the guy on eBay and
he kept me waiting and he didn’t respond to my messages and he had a few bad
feedback on eBay other people who brought from weren’t happy same as me guys
what is your advice shall never trust a seller on eBay

BrickLink is a better place to find experts and credible LEGO sellers. eBay is
just an online marketplace for anything and everything.

Nice camera roll.

eBay

I’ve had a Lego bicycle shipped in a standard envelope, handlebars etc bursting
out.

On another occasion I received two crater base plates wrapped tightly in a black
bin bag, you could see what they were from the shape, how both lots survived
I’ve no idea but they did.

A third was half a dozen printed tiles sent in a standard envelope, however on
this occasion the envelope had clearly stuck in a sorting machine, marked it
and a couple of tiles were missing.

The only problem I’ve had with a BL sellers shipment was a large package of test
bricks which arrived late in a plastic bag.
It had been repacked by the courier and included the original wrapping which
was soaking, I suspect it was ok leaving the seller and it got soaked somewhere
on its journey.

Just for info, the bricks were all there, phew !

I don’t remember buying a boxed set from BL so I can’t comment on that.

The only sealed box I’ve purchased from a BL seller was a 21311 back in June.
You’ll probably get questionable/great quality packaging wherever you go.

only 25 days is not bad at all. (at least in Canada) on bricklink I've had
an order take about 1 month to invoice 1 month to ship and then 1 month to arrive.

The guy was in mew jersey but he kept Delaying it and I told eBay about and
they got mad at him for not shipping it and waiting for a week and shipping
it without a shipping box to protect the set but in a paper wrapping

But you can ship cremated people and animals through USPS. Also, chickens, fish,
and reptiles. But not all in the same box.

Here in the UK Ebay is excellent for purchasing new sets. My experience with
used sets on Ebay is not good because of course you cannot be certain of the
quality of the bricks nor if all items will be present. Packaging for shipment
does vary between sellers but in general I have found it to be acceptable. Bricklink
is, in my experience, much more expensive for new sets but I'd say for the
avid collector it's a good marketplace. The other two retailers I use for
complete sets are Lego.com and Amazon.co.uk. We also have two Lego stores here
in Scotland and I have been impressed thus far with my first purchase this week.
So overall my advice is to shop around and of course raise any issues with sellers
should the need arise as generally they are responsive and offer an appropriate
resolution.

I rarely have problems with BL sellers or purchases on Ebay, but by this post
and previous ones sounds like you might.

If you use the feedback system provided on both platforms and are vetting them
properly you should not have a problem.

Its late 2023, who buys things from china sources or invest in their economy
if they don't have to...

and brickman4you I had some trouble with some buyer I think you might know and I have zero negative feedback and I got picked on so many other sellers by placing me on there stop list without checking the feedback which 102 now and brickman4you if you have bad 9volt wires you can replace the wire and repair it by buying this wire and I did the same for the wires I brought and and they work great the wires I got were the skin started falling off it might have given to short circuit and here is the link https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PPSKVNN?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details And it works very well and here is the video on YouTube that I found helpful https://youtu.be/kXApTUbNzD0?si=TuIKumjUgK-r6WmX it’s very easy to change
