| Hello! My name is Heather and I am a mom of a 17 year old and 20 year old, boys
- and we have A LOT of Legos! I don’t know where or how to even begin!?!
I’d say at least 40-50% of the sets are glued together. Maybe 5% with superglue
and the other amount with hot glue - so it’s easy to still take the hot glued
ones apart if desired. We have THOUSANDS of parts that we also inherited from
my brothers who are in their 30’s. I have most of the parts all separated by
color, size, etc. I can take pictures of all of those too. Mostly everything
that belongs to a set, I have the instructions and more than likely all of the
pieces but I have no clue how to know that factually without taking it all apart.
If anyone has any thoughts, suggestions, insight, etc. I’d be beyond grateful.
Thank you in advance for any help and direction you could guide me with.
Warmly,
Heather

Hi. You might want to sell the glued sets on auction sites. Most people on bricklink
won't want "glued" sets as far as I know. The separate figures and
parts you can list on here in a store. Might take a while to list it all but
at least you can get some $.
Hope this helps

| To clarify, in order to sell on Bricklink you must first:
1) make a purchase in someone else’s shop, to receive a positive feedback
2) apply to become a seller (the information is in the help section)
3) set up a shop with a shipping method and payment method (like PayPal) - which
isn’t as difficult as it sounds.
You cannot sell anything before completing this process.
I agree that the glued sets likely won’t move quickly on this platform. However,
if you have the time and interest the non-glued parts can be listed individually.
You can list sets too, marking them as complete or incomplete with a description
of what they are missing (instructions, minifigures etc.)
Good luck Heather and welcome to Bricklink!

considering mostly the sets are permanently glued together.. my suggestion is
just lot everything up in 1 giant lot, everything ... & post it on Ebay in an
auction.
describe it correctly, likely you wil get a few hundred if not around $1,000
for the lot.
just weigh it for correct shipping fees. if you want a certain amount, post it
with a reserve price.
you can go to https://postcalc.usps.com/ to see what it will cost you.
good luck on it,

I'm just gonna go ahead and say that glued LEGO is basically trash. But you
never know someone might want them on an auction site. Unless you want to learn
a ton about LEGO, shipping, and selling online, I would suggest a local marketplace
sale.
Lots of cool LEGO there! It's too bad about the glue.

I suggest you atleast keep the glued sets so when you boys come home and tell
them you're going to be grandparents you already have LEGO for those kids
to play with when they grow up.
